Overview
A 07 Nights / 08 Days tour in Assam covering Jorhat, Neamati Ghat, Sibsagar, Majuli Island, Kaziranga, Bishwanath Ghat, Peacock Island, and Guwahati allows you to explore the cultural and natural beauty of this northeastern Indian state.
Day 01:- Arrive Jorhat
• Arrive at Jorhat Airport / Railway station, our representative will meet you with holding a pla card of your name.
• He will assist you to check – in at the cabin as per your preference at the time of booking.
• After freshen up proceed to explore the town in the including a visit to the historic Thengal Bhawan.
• Overnight stay at Jorhat
Day 02:- Neamati Ghat and Sibsagar
• After breakfast, depart for Neamati Ghat (about 1-2 hours by road).
• Board a ferry to Majuli Island, one of the world's largest river islands.
• Explore Majuli's unique culture, including visits to monasteries (Satras) and interaction with the locals.
• Return to Neamati Ghat and proceed to Sibsagar (about 1.5-2 hours by road).
• Visit historical sites like the Sibsagar Sivasagar tank, Rang Ghar, and Talatal Ghar.
• Overnight stay in Sibsagar.
Day 03:- Majuli Island Exploration
• Return to Majuli Island by ferry.
• Continue exploring Majuli's culture, including traditional dance performances and artisan workshops.
• Visit more Satras and enjoy the scenic beauty of the island.
• Overnight stay in Majuli
Day 04:- Kaziranga National Park
• Depart for Kaziranga National Park (about 5-6 hours by road).
• Check-in at your Kaziranga accommodation.
• Evening at leisure.
• Overnight stay near Kaziranga.
Day 05:- Kaziranga Safari
• Early morning elephant safari in Kaziranga National Park.
• Return to the resort for breakfast.
• Jeep safari in Kaziranga to explore more of the park's wildlife.
• Lunch at the resort.
• Visit the nearby Orchid Park or Tea Estate if time permits.
• Overnight stay near Kaziranga.
Day 06:- Bishwanath Ghat and Silghat
• Check out from your Kaziranga accommodation.
• Depart for Bishwanath Ghat (about 3-4 hours by road).
• Explore Bishwanath Ghat, which is known for its temples and scenic beauty.
• Continue to Silghat (about 1-2 hours by road) for a cruise on the Brahmaputra River.
• Enjoy the scenic cruise and birdwatching opportunities.
• Return to the mainland and overnight stay near Silghat.
Day 07:- Guwahati via Peacock Island
• Depart for Guwahati (about 3-4 hours by road).
• En route, visit Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River, home to the Umananda Temple.
• Continue to Guwahati, check-in at your accommodation, and rest.
• Explore Guwahati in the evening, including the Kamakhya Temple or a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra.
• Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 08:- Guwahati Departure
• Depending on your departure schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping or exploring Guwahati.
• Transfer to Guwahati Airport or railway station for your onward journey.
